  1. Picked up my daughter after work. She proceeded to tell me about the Rice Krispies Treats she made today at daycare and how she wanted to make more so she can share with me and my wife. So we spent the part of the afternoon making Rice Krispies Treats. It was a good day.

  2. This one has been brewing for a while now but since I wanted to build a nice balanced amp it moved up in line. Basic setup is the same as the old Dynalo but now with Super Symmetry input, higher rail voltages and naturally a bit more power. Input stage changed to THAT340 which is a quad bipolar transistor array with matched NPN and PNP pairs. It is cheap and easy to source so no jfet drama. The other transistors are new as well and the pinout is different to reflect that. Here is a look at the new PCB design which is pretty much ready: It is 138*86mm. Another thing from the same vein is a fully discrete unbalanced to balanced circuit that we have been working on so no DRV134 garbage. I'll start with this one though and order some proto boards this week.

  8. I'll be hearing the DSHA-1/HD800 combo later this week since I bought the last sale amp from Doug, quite excited. It will be fun to see what the amp does with the R10s too. I like supporting the good guys.

  10. Been awhile so I thought I would update. This has been an easy diet to follow and still no cravings. I have "cheated" a few times .... pizza seems to be a down fall for me ... but I have only seen my weight go up once since I began, and that was the week I invited my daughter to move out. Weighed in at 279# this a.m. so I am down 20# to date. It has been a consistent one or two pounds weight loss through out and I'm not done. My waist has gone from an unimaginable 52 to a comaratively slim 46 in that same time period. Really haven't added exercise but I do seem to be more active. Sadly, I haven't taken the time to get my blood pressure checked and that is my primary reason for doing this. I have no doubt it is down but I should confirm that. Hoping all of you are seeing success as well.
