  1. Congrats on the job Lloyd Me, I moved into my new house today. Moving sucks, but I love setting things up. I think my daughter is really going to like her new room.

  2. Nice, Dan. Time for you to get riding! So....drum roll please....52 pain free miles today! I'm back!!!! I broke out the Calfee, and I forgot how much I liked these wheels and tires. I thought I was going to do a quick 20, but felt so good I kept going. I was aided by a beautiful tailwind going north, and rode faster than I ever have before: 19-22 the whole way, minus the crazy church traffic section in Palm Beach , and even kicked it up to 23-25 when I was trying to impress a couple handsome older guys, but that only lasted two miles I'm still sorta shocked. Of course, that same friendly wind kicked my azz on the way back home, and I was back between 14-16 mph, but I wasn't alone in that, and even the groups were chugging along. I seriously bonked the last five mile. Between the gusts coming off the ocean, and the fact that I'd eaten nothing since dinner yesterday, and no carbs at that, I'm surprised I didn't die out earlier. Mile 32 at the Palm Beach Inlet.

  3. Very nice revision of the boards. Being able to source all the parts from a single vendor is a big plus. I've just done with huge schoolwork and will be pretty relaxed for a couple of months to do another run of group buy, if that really happens. Been planning for ordering a huge stock to keep the price as low as possible but haven't got chances yet. I also found a local source for custom made EI-core or toroidal transformers. They are very well-made and all built by hands, not machine, so utmost care is guaranteed. I would just bring the psu board and try with every single transformer to make sure it works perfectly. A group buy for transformers+boards and ship in a single package would save a lot of time and cost.

  5. I got a note saying my shipping is being refunded, and no offers of any remuneration. I expressed that I probably wasn't going to be shopping with newegg anymore because of how they've handled this, but didn't ask for anything beyond that. I also only exchanged emails, I never called, because nothing short of double my money back would be worth spending an hour of time dealing with customer service folks.

  6. Nice ride Vicki and Brent! Rode some hills in Clermont today. Around 928 feet of elevation gain in 12.88 miles (that's only half the trail). Used up all my energy and all the gears in my compact. Also just realized I have 262 miles for March and may add more tomorrow

  10. DAC got back a week ago and I finally got time to test it out. Sounds great and seems to work perfectly. They said they changed out the LCD which I guess got out of whack when I tried to put the top back on backwards. Glad it was under warranty! It's pretty awesome that PS Audio let's you open up the DAC and still honors the warranty.
