  1. I'm tired of hearing people bitch about me bitching about wanting a road bike. No name (carbon) frame, Tiagra/105 mix, Shimano R500 (Tiagra) wheels, about 18.5 pounds. Yeah, I know, I've gotta upgrade the wheels, drivetrain, bars, stem, post, saddle, and frame, but this will do til that happens. OK, so I'm counting on you guys to make my lazy ass get up and ride. **BRENT** P.S. Now I need some pedals and shoes. Inexpensive stuff. Haven't looked in ages, what do you guys think?

  4. My friend Marc convinced me that it'd be a good idea to do 20 today, despite the temps and winds. For me that meant 35 since I rode up to meet him rather than drive. The temp reading on the Garmin is way high, so I included the local weather graphic from Garmin's site which is much more accurate (temps in the high 20s, wind chill in the mid teens). Other than frozen toes it was a great ride.

  5. Just went outside to play baseball and basketball with the Little Monkey. Jebus it is cold.

  7. Rocked it at the gig last night. Crazy dancers in every song, and despite jamming a lot of songs into deep left field, there were no train wrecks. That's about as good as it gets!

  10. Got up and went down to meet the guy dropping the boat off. Safely back in the water. Also found out that the guys had managed to remove the giant clump of vine at the house: It's going to be a great summer. Also installed the radio thermostats at home which was relatively painless. No more forgetting to set it to away.
